OBITUARY

MR A. A. BURLING.

The death occurred at Buchanan Home, Greytown, this morning of Mr Alexander Alfred Burling, at the age of 72 years. The late Mr Burling was born at Whareama and in youth drove bullock teams in the Taueru and Tinui districts. He later took up farming at Kaituna and had lived in Masterton since 1920. He is survived by two daughters. Mrs C. P. Jarrett (Kopuaranga) and Mrs F. Collis (Levin), and one son, Mr A. A. J. Burling (Porirua), beside four sisters and two brothers* The funeral will take place on Saturday, leaving the chapel of .Hydes Funeral Service Ltd., following a service at 2 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
