Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:— Barograph 30.43; shade temperature, maximum 56.0, minimum 24.8, terrestrial 16.7; sunshine 8 hours 24 minutes; frost 13.7 degrees. PHASES OF THE MOON. Full moon, July 9, 8.17 a.m.; last quarter, July 16, 8.7 p.m.; new moon, July 24, 7.39 p.m. SUN. The sun rose today at 7.47 a.m. and sets at 5.3 p.m.
