COLLEGE RUGBY
WAIRARAPA FIRST & SECOND FIFTEENS. MATCHES TODAY & TOMORROW. Teams from the Wairarapa College left Masterton today to play intercollegiate Rugby matches with Hutt Valley and Napier Boys’ High Schools. The hockey match which was to have been played at the College tomorrow between the College and Dannevirke High School has been postponed owing to illness among pupils at the Dannevirke school.
The Rugby teams are: First fifteen, to play Napier Boys’ High School at Napier tomorrow: N. Wilson (captain), T. Taylor, Stevens, Orr, Boyne. Matthews, Beecroft. Simpson, Davey. Stubbs, Daniell, Skews Dewar, Orsborn, Donnelly, Schofield. Welch.
The second fifteen is playing Hutt Valley High School at Hutt today. The team is: E. Welch, J. Casey, N. Mangham (captain), J. Henderson, M. Finlayson, A. Summers, G. Wagg, R Taylor, R. Stewart, L. Butt, B. Walsh E. Nakkies, E. Stewart, J. Hourigan, R. Wilton, A. Hoar, C. M'acdonald and H. Mangham.
