Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today:— Barograph. 30.43; shade temperature, maximum, 49.1; minimum, 35.8; terrestrial, 30; sunshine, 2 hours 59 minutes; rain, 4 points; frost, .4 degrees. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 5 points of rain fell at Solway during the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. today. Phases of the moon in July: First quarter 2nd, 4.24 p.m.; full moon 9th, 8.17 a.m.; last quarter 16th. 8.7 p.m.; new moon 24th, 7.39 p.m. SUN. The sun rose today 7.47 a.m.; sets 5.2 p.m.
