The Australian Director-General of Post and Telegraphs (Mr D. McVey) has announced that 77 per cent of all the homes in the Commonwealth are licensed to use wireelss sets. The latest figures showed that there were now in Australia, a country of only about 7,000,000 people. 1.282.787 broadcast listeners’ licenses. South Australia, with 8.0 per cent, had the highest density of listeners.
