SOUTH FEATHERSTON
EUCHRE AND DANCE AN ENJOYABLE GATHERING. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a good attendance at the euchre party and dance held in the South' Featherston Hall recently. The prize-winners were:—Ladies: Mrs Wilson, 1; Miss Simmonds, 2. Men: Mrs Wakeley, 1; Mr A. Robertson, 2. The Monte Carlo waltzes were won by Mr Cook and partner, and Mr Wilson and partner. Udy's Orchestra supplied the music and Miss G. Fraser played an extra. Mr H. Graham was M.C.
Horne and School Association. The members of the Home and School Association held their monthly meeting in the South Featherston Hall, when Mrs Clark presided over a good attendance of members. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames A. Gain and A. Burt. Routine business was transacted. Mesdames Benton and Cross were the hostesses. Parcels for Soldiers. The War Service Committee has packed and sent twenty-four parcels to local soldiers who are serving overseas. t Personal. Mr and Mrs D. W. Burt have returned home after haivng spent a holiday at Hastings and Otaki.
