CHURCH SERVICES
The meetings at the Salvation Army Citadel on Sunday will be conducted by Major Albert Chandler, Wellington Divisional Young People’s Secretary, who will be assisted by Envoy Colley, of the South Wellington Corps. The Holy Communion will be celebrated at St Matthew’s Church tomorrow at 8 a.m. and Taueru at 9.45 a.m. Archdeacon Rich will be the preacher at St Matthew's itChurch and at Taueru, Rangitumau and Kopuaranga. The Rev Hepa Taepa will conduct the servie’e at Kuripuni. ' At 11 a.m. tomorrow in Knox Church a memorial service will be held for the late Mrs M. Reynolds and Dr J. A. Cowie. This service and those in the evening and at Matahiwi will be conducted by the Rev John Davie. A community sing will precede the evening service. The services at the Lansdowne Presbyterian Church and at Wangaehu tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev D. McNeur. Youth Day services will be held at the Methodist Church tomorrow. Holy Communion will be observed at 8 a.m. At the service at 11 a.m. there will be a parade of Girl Guides and the Girls’ .Life Brigade. The subject at that service will be “The Sacrament of Liberty.” A youth rally service at 2.30 p.m. will be conducted by the Rev C. T. Symonds. 8.A., B.D. Mr Symonds is the senior director of youth work. His subject will be “Can God do as He Likes,” The evening service at Masterton will be conducted by Mr Symonds, who will speak on "Religion Today." There will be an afternoon service at Ml Bruce. The choir will attend the Hospital at 4 p.m. for a choral service. Mr Kings will conduct the evening service at the Kuripuni Methodist Church. Mr L,. R. Ulmar, organising secretary of the Churches of Christ, will be the speaker at the Church of Christ services in Masterton tomorrow.
