LADIES’ AUXILIARY. MONTHLY MEETING YESTERDAY. The monthly meeting of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Y.M.C.A. was held in the Y.M.C.A.Rooms yesterday. There was a very large attendance of members. A new member, Mrs G. C. L. Dickel, was welcomed by the president. Mrs H. E. Pi (her. Mrs Pomeroy and Mrs Swinn were elected honorary members. The treasurer’s report showed a very favourable bank balance. A report was given on the recent, card parties. The next card party is to be held on June 19. A furnishing committee was appointed to complete the curtains for the lounge. Appreciation was expressed by the members of the work already carried out by the ladies in making and hanging the curtains. A most successful “bring and buy” was held. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses. Mesdames Welsh and Cottle.
