j EUCHRE AND DANCE 1| THE PRIZEWINNERS. . | ("Times-Age” Special.) At the euchre party and dance held in the South Featherston Hall, the prize-winners were:—Ladies: Mrs Bladin, 1; Mrs Worsley, 2. Men: Mr Worsley, 1; Mr N. Burt, 2. The Monte Carlo waltzes were won by Mr Chapman and Miss Dick, and Mr and Mrs Corbert. The music was supplied by Udy Bros. Mr D. Robertson was M.C. Personal Items, , Mi- and Mrs D. W. Burt, of South Featherston, are spending a holiday at Hastings. Mr and Mrs Alan Burt are South Featherston visitors to Napier. Aircraftsman Blain and Mrs Blain are spending a few days at South Featherston, and are the guests of Mr and Mrs Blain. Mrs Rees, of Wanganui, is a visitor to South Featherston. Miss Ina Gain, of South Featherston, has left to take up a position in Wellington. The residents of South Featherston gathered together in the South Featherston Hall on Saturday night to bid farewell to Mr and Mrs Stark, who are leaving the district. The time was spent in competitions and community singing. The competition winners were:—Mrs Willis and Mr Rasmussen. Mr Robertson presented Mr and Mrs Stark with a silver tea set on behalf of the residents and wished them the best of luck in their new home. Mr Stark suitably replied.
