KITCHEN TEA
POPULAR KOPUARANGA RESIDENT. ENTERTAINED PRIOR TO MARRIAGE. (“Times-Age” Special.) Miss Eileen Jarratt was the guest of honour at a kitchen tea in the Kopuaranga Hall prior to her wedding which took place on Saturday. The function took the form of a dance and Mr Jell' Clarke acted as-M.C. Music was supplied by Mr J. West and extras were played by Mrs Reside. On behalf of the settlers of the district and other friends. Mr C. C. Jackson asked Miss Jarratt to accept a large number of useful gifts. Mrs R. Miller presented Miss Jarratt with a pair of pottery vases from the Koptiaranga Women's Institute, cf which Miss Jarratt had been secretary during the past year. Miss Jarrett was accorded musical honours. Mr D. Christensen replied on behalf of Miss Jarratt. The popularity of the bride elect, who wore a- frock of pink taffeta, with diamante trimmings, was emphasised by the largo number of friends present from all parts of the Wairarapa.
