WEDDING AT KOPUARANGA

GUESTS ENTERTAINED. GATHERING ON SATURDAY NIGHT After the marriage of Miss Eileen Jarratt and Mr D. Christensen on Saturday Mr and Mrs C. Jarratt entertained about 180 guests at a dance in the Kopuaranga Hall. The hall was decorated with greenery and bowls of flowers. Mrs Jarratt received her guests wearing a frock of midnight blue georgette. Dance music was supplied by Mr A. Barnes and extras wore played by Mr and Miss Wildbore. , The Monte Carlo dance was won by Mr and Mrs G. Roll, and the Lucky Spot waltz by Miss L. Fenimore and Mr L. Wilton. On behalf of those present Mr C. C. Jackson thanked Mr and Mrs Jarratt for their hospitality. The host and hostess were accorded musical honours. Dancing was continued until midnight when the singing of “Auld Lang Sync" brought a happ.y gathering to a close.
