MAURICEVILLE

SOLDIERS HONOURED ("Times-Age” Special.) There was a large attendance al the Mauriceville East Hall last night, when two local soldiers. Messrs P. Condon and 11. McGovern, were entertained. A most enjoyable time was spent. Mr J. L. McArloy. in the absence of the chairman ftf the Patriotic Committee, made presentations to the guests of honour, who were also the recipients of gifts from various local ladies' organisations. Gifts were also handed to Sergeant Clarke and Private Meurk. who have returned from Fiji. Tile music for the dancing was supplied by Te Tail's orchestra, and Mr IT. Milnor acted as M.C.
