RAINFALL FOR MAY (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr F. Cotter. Te Wharau. reports that 10.83 inches of rain fell on 10 days in May. compared with 8.80 inches for the corresponding month last year. The heaviest fall was on May 3. when 7.36 inches were recorded. For the five months of this year 28.49 inches were registered, compared with 20.58 inches for the corresponding period of last year.
