The Kia Kaha team and Scouts won their respective grades convincingly. Added to that, the two Scout teams were the finalists, while in the ladies' sections, Greytown 'A met Greytown B in the semi-final. The ladies' team went through unbeaten. and scored 15 goals for and none against. The B team was defeated only by its A team and then only by 1 to nil, the lowest score put up by the A's. The B team, too, had the honour of defeating the Excelsior A team which was regarded as the most likely section winner. The play of both ladies’ teams was characterised by good positional work, excellent tackling, and sound passing. Home Guard.
