GOLF CLUB DRAW FOR HUME CUP. (“Times-Age” Special.) The following is the draw for the first round for the William Hume Memorial Cup:—Ladies, Mrs Bragg v Mrs McKenzie; Stewart v Mrs Thomas; Mrs Carter v Mrs Sutherland; Mrs Herangi v Mrs Tikao. Men, J. Riwai (v I‘. Hume: W. Stewart v M. Herangi; D. Tikao v N. Hume; M. Wawera v S. Thomas; F. Lovegrove v G. Sutherland; D. Didsbury v G. Hull; J. Carter v W. Charteris; R. Lovegrove v S. Hall; D. Charteris v M. McLeod: H. Carter v H. Matakate. Personal Items. The death occurred at Dannevirke recently of Mrs Tangihaere Barclay, a highly respected resident of Tahoraiti. She was well known in this district. She leaves a grown-up family, one of whom is Mr Eunny Barclay, of South Featherston. Among those who arc posted ns missing in connection with the evacuation of Greece are Privates Hakaraia and Bragg, nephews of Messrs J. Carter and J. Bragg respectively. A brother of Mr R. Pearce, Te Pari, is also reported missing. The many friends of Mr Tilly Matthews, who has been an inmate of the Greytown and now ol Hie Masterton Hospital, will be pleased to learn that ho is making good progress towards recovery.
