DRUIDS’ LODGE
BUSINESS AT QUARTERLY MEETING. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. At the quarterly meeting of Stonehenge Lodge of Druids. A.D. Bro. C. N. Cole presided over a good attendance of members. The principal business of the evening was the nomination and ' election of officers for the ensuing term. After keen competition, P.A. Bro A. G. Swinn was elected A.D., and P.A. Bro C. A. Pickering, V.A. The installation meeting will be held on Monday, June 9, when a large attendance of members is expected. An invitation has been forwarded to the officers and members of Totara Lodge, Carterton. to be present. Eleven members declared on the sick funds of the lodge and four off. Sick pay and accounts amounting to £37 19s 4d were passed. Two delegates were appointed to attend a special meeting of the U.F.S. Council on behalf of the lodge. Very satisfactory reports were received from the dance committee and from the U.F.S. Dispensary delegates. It was reported that Totara Lodge would hold its installation on Monday, June 2. Several members stated that they had accepted invitations to be present.
