MAURICEVILLE
PLUNKET SOCIETY ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The fourteenth annual meeting of the Mauriceville district sub-branch cf the Plunket Society was held at the residence of Mrs lan Cameron bn Tuesday. The president, Mrs R. Miller, presided over a fair attendance of members. The report of the year's operations was satisfactory. It was stated that a very successful house to house canvas had been carried out in Kopuaranga, Ihuraua and Mangamahoe, and will be continued in Mauriceville East and Mauriceville West next week. A vote of thanks was passed to Nurse Humphries for her untiring help to local mothers and babies. Thanks were also expressed to Mr Owen Jones for having audited the accounts. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mrs Robert Miller (Kopuaranga); vice-pre-sidents. Mesdames E. H. Dagg. I. Cameron. A. Forsberg- and C. Hodgins; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mrs R. C. F. Dagg (Ihuraua). The meeting closed with a hearty vote of thanks to Mrs Cameron for the use of her home for the meeting.
