CROQUET

MASTERTON PARK CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS. The annual meeting of the Masterton Park Croquet Club was held in the Y.M.C.A. Rooms yesterday. There was practically a full attendance of members. Mrs Bassett presented the report and balance-sheet for the season just closed. The Park Club, it was stated, had been very successful at the Wairarapa tournament and on the whole had set a high standard of play. The membership had increased, and everything pointed to a successful season in the new year. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mrs J. F. Donnelly; vice-presidents, Mrs I. I. McGregor; secretary, Mrs L. Polson; captain, Mrs G. Doggett; delegate, Mrs E. J. Bassett; committee. Mesdames A. Weller, G. Scrivener and officers exofficio; sports committee, Mesdames Donnelly, Doggett, Polson, Bassett and McGregor.
