Shedden v. Miss Quinn. All players are requested to be off the tee by 1 p.m. RED CROSS SOCIETY TRAINING STARTED LAST NIGHT. The local members of the Red Cross Society commenced their squad drill training last evening. Sergt. Major Whimp, of the Home Guard, acted as instructor. GIRL GUIDES COLLECTION OF RAGS. The Greytown Girl Guides will make a collection of cleaning rags (soft cotton, white or coloured) for the use of the Army and the Air Force. Residents of Greytown are requested to have their parcels ready for collection on May 22. Social Gathering and Dance. The Greytown Citizens’ Patriotic Committee will entertain a number of soldiers who are on leave at a social gathering and dance in the Odd Fellows' Hall tonight.
