FOOD RIOTS
REPORTED IN RUMANIA SITUATION IN GREECE ALARMING. VAIN EFFORTS TO FORM PRO-NAZI PARTY. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright I LONDON. May 13. A message from Bucharest says that riots throughout Rumania have occurred following the introduction of two breadless days weekly, and the disorders have induced the Government to cancel its decree. The food situation in Greece is also alarming, the same message states. The efforts of the Germans to rally a pro-German Greek party have been unsuccessful. There have been numerous arrests in restaurants in the Rumanian capital for spreading or listening to rumours. A Geneva message says that the Chief of the Rumanian State, General Antonescu, has threatened to close all universities in Rumania unless the students denounce the anti-German agitators among them. Students singing forbidden patriotic songs on May 10 interrupted the Rumanian national day celebrations. BOMB OUTRAGE NEWSPAPER BUILDING DAMAGED. (Received This Day, 10.5 a.m.) BUCHAREST, May 13.
