LUBRICATING OILS
NEW PLANT CONSTRUCTED IN CANADA. < OTTAWA. The Oil Controller of the Department of Munitions and Supply.has recently completed an investigation into the market demand for lubricating oils as well as the present production capacity in Canada. On the strength of this survey, he has authorised the construction by the British American Oil Company Limited of a lubricating oil plant near Toronto. This plant will have a capacity equal to that of the company's present market requirements in lubricating oils and with excess capacity to take care of additional demand. Heretofore this company has been a large importer of this type of oil. When this plant is completed there will then be three sources of lubricating oil supply in Canada which will be able to supply the requirements of those formerly importing this commodity.
