MAHUNGA CLUB WEEKEND RESULTS. LADIES' COMPETITION. On Saturday the first round for the net aggregate was played, the following being the best scores:—Miss B. Frost, 73 net; Miss R. Robinson, 73 net; Mrs C. Torr, 76 net; Mrs G. R. Turner, 77 net. BEST CARDS IN MEN’S CONTEST. In the first round of the net aggregate competition played on Saturday by the members of the Mahunga Golf Club the best cards returned were:—P. Hawksworth, 57; G. R. Ward, 70; M. Thornton, 71.
MASTERTON CLUB STABLEFORD COMPETITION. BEST CARDS ON SATURDAY. The following are the best cards handed in for a Stableford competition: 5 A grade.—W. E. Holdgate 36, J. Jameson 34, R. E. Baker 34. H. R. Falloon - 33, F. S. Smaill 32, G. M. Ross 32. I B grade.—W. H. Kummer 32, G. R. Joy 31. ‘ RIVERSIDE t STABLEFORD ROUND RESULTS. 1 Perfect weather favoured golfers on Saturday and competition at the Riverside Club’s links was very keen in the Stableford round, a pleasing feature being that the best scores were handed in by new players. Results were:— ’ Men, R. Simpson 36, O. Hemmingsen ' 34, W. Palamontain 34, L. Roff 34, A. Hearle 34, A. Bell 33, D. Costello 33, F. Dwyer 33. Ladies: Mrs Nancarrow ' 32, Mrs Skeet 31, Mrs Gilliland 31, Miss Selby 30, Mrs Brown 29. During the weekend two more Stableford rounds were played, the first being won by A. Bell and J. Lulham, 37 each, and in the second round the best card was handed in by A. McKenzie and D. Kember, 37 each.
