BASKETBALL

INDOOR COMPETITION. DRAW FOR TUESDAY. The indoor basketball season will be officially opened by Mr E. M. Hodder, president of the Y.M.C.A., tomorrow evening. Captains of the various teams are asked to have their teams ready to parade at 8 o’clock sharp. Twenty-two teams have entered in the competitions this season, and they have been divided into four grades—ladies' senior A and B, junior ladies, and men’s games. Fixtures and times for tomorrow evening's games are as follow: — 7 p.m.—State Kitchenette A v. Cody’s. 7.20 p.m.—Rangers A v. Sparklets. 7.35 p.m.—W.F.C.A. v. Hospital. 7.50 p.m. — Talton's v. Rangers B. 8.10 p.m.—Vesta Batteries v. W.F.C.A. 8.30 p.m.—McKenzie's v. Rovers. 8.45 p.m.—Banks v. Woolworth's. 9.5 p.m.—McDuff’s v. Cathie's. 9.15 p.m.—Lancers v. Garages. 9.30 p.m.—State Kitchenette v. Woolworth's.
