Miss Brenda Bloxam, Auckland, and Miss Catherine Bloxam, Wellington, are home for the holidays. Mrs Watson is visiting Auckland.
Euchre Party and Dance.
Patrons should not miss the euchre party and- dance to be held in the Kahutara Hal by the Women’s Institute on Tuesday.
Kaiwaiwai Gathering. A successful euchre party and dance was held in the Kaiwaiwai Hall on Saturday night, the proceeds from which are for patriotic purposes. The card tournament resulted:—Ladies: Miss Simmonds 1, Mrs Gooding 2. Men: Mr W. Fuge 1, Mr J. Thompson 2.
