FOUNDERS’ SOCIETY
CELEBRATION OF MASTERTON’S BIRTHDAY. At a meeting of the Wairarapa Branch of the N.Z. Founders’ Society. Mrs R. Miller presided in the absence of Mr G. R. Sykes. A discussion was held on the holding of a function to celebrate Masterton's birthday, which falls on May 21. It was agreed that old settlers be asked to give reminiscences. It was also suggested that members of the Wellington Founders’ Society be asked to be present. The annual meeting is to be held on Monday, May 19. when arrangements for the reception will be completed.
