HOME GUARD FIRST AID LECTURE. (“Times-Age” Special.) During the week Mr Herbert Clark gave a practical demonstration and lecture on first aid to the n.c.o’s. of the Home Guard. The n.c.o’s. will impart the knowledge gained to members of the Guard next Tuesday evening. Tomorrow the Guard will march out to Tauherenikau, leaving the Town Hall at about 10 o'clock for the purpose of gaining knowledge from the troops, who are now camped at Tauherenikau, where it is understood they will practice embussing and debussing. The rest of the day will be taken up by the Guard practising manoeuvres, etc. Commander Hayes instructed members in musketry drill on Wednesday night at the Pahautea Home Guard parade.
