WINTER JASMINE
A COLOURFUL PLANT. Long before the bulbs commence to bloom, the invaluable winter jasmine will bring colour to the dull days with its golden flowers. If it can be grown in a sheltered position a plant put in now will probably bear some flowers this winter, but in the spring it should be in full bloom. Cut sprays of buds will open in water if placed in a warm room and are very attractive. The long stems should be secured to supports to prevent strong winds disturbing the roots. Plant firmly in ordinary soil and choose a position in which the plant can remain.
