GREYTOWN

VOLUNTEER FIRE BRIGADE MONTHLY MEETING OF MEMBERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The monthly meeting of the Greytown Fire Brigade was held last evening. Superintendent J. Wood presided. A circular from the United Fire Brigades’ Association on how to deal with air raid fires was discussed, and the secretary was instructed to hand the same to the -press. Out of the twelve men required for the Auxiliary section the services of six have already been secured. A vote of sympathy was passed to Foreman B. Workman who is at present in the Masterton Hospital.

Deputy Superintendent H. W. Wood received a two-year service bar, making in all 15 years’ service.
