TRUCK HITS POLE
FARMER DIES FROM INJURIES. PLEASANT POINT ACCIDENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) TIMARU, April 14. Thomas Hicks Ivey, a well-known farmer of Kingsdown, near Timaru. died as a result of injuries when a truck he was driving left the road and struck a light pole in the vicinity of Pleasant Point tonight. A daughter, who was a passenger, was sent to hospital with injuries.
