PERSONAL ITEMS (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr and Mrs Julian and Miss S. Julian were Wellington visitors for the local races. j Mr Len Butchers, who met with an accident on Saturday which resulted in a broken collarbone and several broken toes, after being attended by Dr. Sharp, has been able to proceed to his home at Ahiaruhe. Mr K. McLeod, Martinborough, is undergoing treatment in the Kelvin Hospital. Mrs and Miss Smith, who were Easter guests of Mrs Juno, returned yesterday to Tauranga, accompanied by Mrs Juno. Mrs Guy Thynne, Auckland, and her daughter, Mrs Arthur Williams, Samoa, were the guests of Mr and Mrs N. C. C. Shepherd for Easter, after having attended the marriage of her daughter, Miss Winsome Thynne, to Mr R. Gaudie, instructor at the Ohakea Station, at Palmerston North on Saturday.
Miss Dorothy Niell, Petone, is the guest of Mrs Bargh, Pahautea.
Mrs Scott, Wellington, is spending-a few days with Mrs Sullivan, Kahutara Road.
Mrs Smart, Martinborough, Leading Aircraftman R. C. Smart, Harewood, and Miss N. Frederick, Wellington, have been the guests of Mr and Mrs R. R. Hardy. Miss Salmond and Miss Nancy Salmend, Wellington, who were the guests of Mrs G. S. Sharp, left yesterday for Wanganui, accompanied by Miss Barbara Sharp.
