KA ITU NA-FERN RIDGE. MONTHLY MEETING OF MEMBERS. (“Times-Age" special.) At the monthly meeting of the Kai-tuna-Fernridge Women’s Institute, Mrs R. lorns (president) presided. Delegates were elected to attend the Federation Conference. Wool was distributed to members tc knit balaclavas for soldiers. The hostesses were Mrs. D. Cooper and Mrs A. Keir, Junr. The competitions resulted as follows: —Fruit squares, Mrs Keir, Senr., 1; Mrs J. Welsh, 2. Flowers: Mrs J. Shaw, 1; Mrs Scharnweber, 2. The competition for next month will be for wholemeal scones.
