ESTABLISHMENT OF BRITISH FORCES' TANKS & REINFORCEMENTS. ANNOUNCEMENT IN HOUSE OF LORDS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) LONDON. April 9. Lord Moyne announced in the House of Lords:—“Our tanks and reinforcements, by means of seapower, have established themselves in force in the strong fortifications of Tobruk.” ENEMY REPORTS (Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) LONDON. April 9. The “Giornale D’Tlalia” claims that Italian forces, aided by Germans, yesterday arrived before Tobruk. A Berlin communique claims the capture of Mekili. It states that two thousand prisoners, including six British generals, were taken in Libya.
