RUGBY SEASON
GLADSTONE CLUB ANNUAL MEETING.’ SENIOR TEAM FOR COMPETITIONS (“Times-Age" special.) The annual meeting of the' Gladstone Football Club was held last night, the patron, Mr J. K. Strang, presiding over a good- attendance. Officers were elected a's follows:— Patron. Mr J. K. Strang; president. Mr E. B. Booth; vice-presidents, Messrs J. Walker, C. J. Matson, H. Henderson; secretary and treasurer, Mr D. Mason; auditor. Mr C. J. Matson; club captain. Mr C. Cooper; delegates fo W'airarapa Rugby Union, Messrs E. B. Booth, E. Mason and F. Booth; management committee, vice-presidents, secretary-trea-surer and Mr J. Henson. It was decided to enter a senior team in the competitions and to hold a practice on Saturday at Gladstone with Masterton seniors.
