CROQUET
MASTERTON PARK CLUB SEASON CLOSED YESTERDAY. TROPHY WINNERS. The Masterton Park Croquet Club closed the season at the Masterton Park yesterday, when members enjoyed half-hour croquet. The winners were: A grade. Mrs. Finlayson 1, Mrs. Weller 2; B grade, Mrs. Betteridge 1, Mrs. Dunderdale 2; C grade, Mrs. Percy 1, Mrs. Snowsill 2. The consolation competitions were won by Mesdames Doggett, Penistone and Rigg. The winners of the competitions played during the season were: A championship, Mrs. L. Polson, runnerup. Mrs. Donnelly; B championship, Mrs Scrivener, runner-up Mrs. Kingdon; C championship, Mrs. B. Thompson, runner-up Mrs. McMasters; Best Memorial, Mrs. Donnelly, runner-up Mrs. I. I. McGregor; Scrivener Cup, Mrs. B. Thompson; Mrs. I. I. McGregor’s trophies were won by Mesdames Donnelly, Dunderdale and B. Thompson.
