VIOLENT BATTLE EAST OF KEREN HEAVY LOSSES ALLEGED ON BOTH SIDES. GENERAL KILLED IN ACTION. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.35 p.m.) LONDON. March 31. An Italian communique says: “Our troops are engaged in a violent battle east of Keren, inflicting heavy losses cn the enemy. Our losses also are numerous. “General Borghesi met a heroic death leading the 10th Savoy Grenadiers Regiment, in hand-to-hand combat.”
