SWIMMING CERTIFICATES FOR PUPILS. (“Times-Age” Special.) Several pupils of the Mauriceville East School have received certificates from the N.Z. Amateur Swimming Association. Personal Items. Mr and Mrs N. Bardsley and family, of Wellington, were the guests of Mi's J. A. Baine over the weekend. Patriotic Dance. On Wednesday, April 2. at the Mauriceville West Hall,. the Women’s Institute anticipate a large attendance at a dance to be held to augment a fund for the benefits of soldiers’ parcels. Members are requested to bring a plate. The cause is a worthy one and during the future the dispatching of parcels to the local soldiers abroad wjll be maintained.
