HOSING RESTRICTIONS

REMOVED IN MASTERTON.The removal of hosing restrictions was decided on by the Masterton Borough Council last night. “Can’t we remove the restrictions?” asked Councillor W. Kemp in raising the matter. "After the beautiful rain today there is no need for a great deal of water.” Mr C. R. Mabson, borough engineer said that in his opinion it was quite safe to lift the restrictions. On the motion of Councillor Kemp, seconded by Councillor J. Ninnes, it was agreed that the restrictions should be removed.
