PATRIOTIC EFFORT CROQUET CLUB’S GARDEN PARTY. (“Times-Age” Special.) In an effort to raise the district quota of £B2OO, of which only about quota of £2BOO, of which only about tinborough Croquet Club ladies held a Garden Party at Mrs. J. A. Beveridge’s residence on Saturday afternoon, and as a result there will be about £4O to hand over the Patriotic Society. New Town Clerk. At a special meeting of the Borough Council last night, Mr T. Beck. Nelson, was appointed Town Clerk, to succeed Mr. G. C. Willis, resigned. There were 13 applicants for the position.
