SOUTH FEATHERSTON
EUCHRE AND DANCE SUCCESSFUL GATHERING. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the euchre party and dance held in the South Featherston Hall the prizes, were won as follow: —Ladies: Mrs Wilson 1, Mrs Lumsden 2. Men: Mr Worsley 1, Mr T. Burt 2. The Monte Carlo waltzes were won by Mr T. Matthew’s and partner and Mrs Flutey and partner. The music was supplied by Mr T. Udy. Miss G. Fraser played an extra. Mr D. Robertson carried out the duties of M.C. SCHOOL ASSOCIATION MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Home and School Association was held in the South Featherston Hall, when Mrs Clark presided over a good attendance of members. A competition for a covered coat hanger resulted in Mrs Sorensen being placed first and Mrs H. R. Burt second. Mesdames Willis. Sorensen and Thompson were the hostesses. Personal Items. Misses J. Yule and G. Yule, of South Featherston, are spending a holiday in Palmerston North. Mesdames Elliott and Fry, of Wellington, are spending a holiday with Mrs P. Wilton, South Featherston.
