MASTERTON PARK CLUB . CHAMPION FOURS. FINAL DECIDED. The final in the champion fours comI petition was played on the Park green | on Saturday afternoon and a very close game was staged. The scoring was even throughout, Brownie drawing the winning shot with his last bowl. The scores were: Trevorrow, Brown, Smith. Brownie (s) beat Staniforth, Fenton, Spackman, Thompson (s), 23/22. The following are the results of other club competition games played ly:Thompson Cup, Handicap Singles.— Taylor beat Whale. Brownie beat Spackman, Brown beat Trevorrow, Brownie beat Jenkins. Spackman Cup, Colts’ Singles. — Moore beat Davies, O’Donnell beat P. Smith, Moore beat Lee, P. Smith beat Cooper, Lee beat O'Donnell, Cooper beat Moore, Centre Fours —The challengers, Carr, Braggins, H. Smith, Shearer (s) (Park) defeated the holders, Dennes, Burden, McLeod, Higginson (s) (Greytown), 25/20. Grady Medals’—The holders, Carr and Thompson (s) beat the challengers Newbould and Harrington (s), Caterton, 24/14.
