SWIMMING
INTERCOLLEGE SPORTS. The intercollegiate swimming sports were held at the Wairarapa College swimming baths on Friday' afternoon. The results were as follow: — Relay Race. —Solway College, 1; St. Matthew’s College, 2; Wairarapa College, 3. This was an easy win for Solway College, the second and third competitors being very close. Diving (judge, Mr. D. Pauling).—St. Matthew’s College, 1; Solway College, 2; Wairarapa College. 3. The best dive was given by June Smith (St. Matthew’s College). The teams were entertained at afternoon tea after the events.
