CARTERTON CLUB MEETING. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the sixth annual meeting of the Carterton Young Farmers’ Club, the report was presented by the chairman (Mr A. Fisher). Although several of the members were absent on military service there was a good attendance. It was reported that the yea)- had been a successful one, members had gained several places in various I Young Farmers’ Club stock judging competitions. The club also won the Young Farmers’ Club’s debating shield. A programme was drawn up for the ensuing year. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Advisory president. Mr G. Allen; chairman. Mr J. Rose; secretary, Mr B. Brassell; treasurer, Mr A. Fisher; club reporter, Mr T. Orr; committee, Messrs N. Hannah. R. McKenzie, and P. Swinn.
