PATRIOTIC EFFORT SUCCESSFUL SHOP DAY. A very successful shop day was held in. the Town Hall yesterday in aid of the £1,000,000 appeal fund. The stalls were sold out early in the afternoon. The total amount realised was £135 13s. Patriotic Appeal. Mrs G. S. Sharp has offered £5 to the Patriotic Appeal provided 19 others subscribe a like sum.
