Brown-j ies and Cubs, assembled at their res- t pective meeting places and marched to‘ the Parish Hall, where an impressivej memorial service was held in memory! of the late Chief Scout, Lord Baden-i Powell, A special order of service was : used which was conducted by the: Vicar, the Rev. F D Ball assisted by' the Rev. Madill, and Mr A. Tyler. of the Presbyterian Church and Gospel j Hall respectively j A*-' The Vicar spoke of the late Chief. and the ide.J of his life-tiny liirming of the .Scout movement which i now had a membership among races | and denominations throughout the ■ world. He instanced many episodes! which emphasised tin:- sense of duty ■ and loyalty to God and country in the 1 ' Scouts' many good daily deeds.
