SUCCESSFUL WEEKEND OUTING. ! LARGE ATTENDANCE OF PUBLIC. i The Wairarapa Gun Dog Club held i a successful outing at Lake Reserve, 1 Featherston. competitors from far ] afield as well as district residents showing appreciation of the venue of the meeting. A high wind made rough water for the retrievers, and on the land the dogs were likewise handicapped in various ways. Notwithstanding i these difficulties some great perform- ! ances were recorded, especially in the I water. Great credit is due to the Feathers- | ton members of the Wairarapa Gun I Dog Club (Messrs Andrew Melvor and William Trengrovei and to the Masterton members who had a busy time in; connection with carrying out thei« arduous duties associated with the] gathering. Thanks are also due to those interested supporters of the club who lent a willing hand. Special jiraise is owing to Mi- Harbuckle, of Masterton. I who with Mr D P.
