SHIPPING LOSSES
THE ALLEGED LEAKAGE OF INFORMATION. INQUIRY TO OPEN TOMORROW, (By Tolegraph—-Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. The inquiry which is to be held into the alleged leakage of information about movements of ships is to begin in Wellington tomorrow. The Commission of Inquiry, of which Mr Justice Callan is chairman, is to inquire into the circumstances surrounding the loss of vessels sunk by raiders after, leaving Now Zealand ports, to investigate any possible leakage of information. and. if there has been leakage, to ascertain the facts concerning it. The commission will .meet for the first time at 107 Customhouse Quay at 10.30 a.m. tomorrow, and all persons having information which enables them to give relevant evidence before the commission, or who can give information which will lead io the discov-i ery of evidence, are invited to communicate with the secretary of thcl commission at that address. The com-1 mission has power to decide whether! the inquiry is to be held in public or! in camera.
