The Hon. W. Nash. Minister of Finance. returned to Wellington today from the South Island. The lion. ii. G. R. Mason, Minister of Education, returned to Wellington last evening from the East Coast. The Hon. P. C. Webb. Minister of Labour, returned to Wellington yesterday from the South Island. Mr E. B. E. Taylor has been selected as the National Parly candidate for the Westland seat. He stood unsuccessfully at the previous general election. The Rev. .A. C. Lane, late of Turau, Hauraki Plains, has arrived in Masterton to commence his ministry in the Wairarapa Outfields. Mr S. Hatch, the well known Wairarapa cricketer, who lias joined the New Zealand overseas mditary forces, will g.> into camp next week Mr. L. H.
