BOWLERS’ CONTRIBUTION
PROCEEDS OF PATRIOTIC TOURNAMENT. CHEQUE FOR £72 RECEIVED. A cheque for £72 Ils has been received by the Town Clerk. Mr G. T. O'Hara Smith, from the Wairarapa Bowling Centre, being the gross receipts of the Wairarapa Bowling Centro’s Patriotic Tournament held on the King’s Birthday last year. The amount has been distributed to the various towns as follows by the Zone B Committee: Masterton £5O 18s; Carterton £7 10s; Martinborough £6 0s 6d; Greytown £5 7s 6d; Featherston £2 15s. The committee expresses its thanks to the Wairarapa Bowling Centre for its contribution.
