MARTINBOROUGH
CAMPING GROUND APPRECIATED BY VISITORS. (“Times-Age” Special.) Since the opening of the camping ground visitors have made use of the facilities afforded and are highly satisfied. The paddling pool for the children is greatly appreciated. The kitchen is also proving a boon to the holiday makers. Business houses report most satisfactory business during the Christmas period and increased returns. This is possibly due to the petrol restrictions which precluded residents journeying elsewhere to shop. The town is beautifully lighted each night with coloured lamps. Baths Well Patronised. The hot weather during the past week has resulted in the recently completed baths being well patronised. Daily hundreds of bathers disport themselves in the water. In previous years it was necessary to journey a couple of miles to the river to indulge in a swim. Visitors to the town are loud in their praise of the baths and are daily patrons.
