CHILD DROWNED
A LAKE TRAGEDY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, December 25. A three-year-old child was found drowned in Hamilton Lake yesterday afternoon. The victim was Peter John Wilton Henley, son of Dr. W. E. Henley, of the staff of the Waikato Hospital. The child was discovered to be missing from his home in Lake Crescent, and when a search was made his body was found in the lake near the jetty. When it was recovered life was extinct. An inquest was held and a verdict of accidental death was returned.
